Job summary

Gadang Group of Companies is actively seeking a Senior Technical Engineer, Tender & Contract to bolster our Kuala Lumpur team on a contract basis. You will lead tender document development, evaluate technical submissions and provide contract‑level guidance throughout project delivery.

The role requires solid civil/structural engineering knowledge, 5+ years’ post‑qualification experience, and strong communication with stakeholders to mitigate risks and ensure compliant outcomes.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of post‑qualification experience in civil/structural engineering.
• Expertise in tender preparation and contract management.
• Strong knowledge of civil/structural design and construction principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills to assess risks.
• Proficient in engineering software and tools.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Ability to work under pressure in fast‑paced environments.

Responsibilities

Senior Technical Engineer, Tender & Contract

Gadang Group of Companies' is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Engineer, Tender & Contract to join their team on a contract basis in Kuala Lumpur. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support throughout the tender and contract process for the company's civil and structural engineering projects.

What you're doing

• Develop and review technical proposals, specifications and tender documents to ensure compliance with client requirements and industry standards
• Conduct technical and commercial evaluations of tender submissions and subcontractor packages
• Provide technical support and advice to the project team during contract negotiations and implementation
• Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with tenders and contracts

What we're looking for
