Job summary

Gadang Group of Companies is actively seeking a Senior Technical Engineer, Tender & Contract to bolster our Kuala Lumpur team on a contract basis. You will lead tender document development, evaluate technical submissions and provide contract‑level guidance throughout project delivery.

The role requires solid civil/structural engineering knowledge, 5+ years’ post‑qualification experience, and strong communication with stakeholders to mitigate risks and ensure compliant outcomes.

Qualifications

At least 5 years of post‑qualification experience in civil/structural engineering.
Expertise in tender preparation and contract management.
Strong knowledge of civil/structural design and construction principles.
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills to assess risks.
Proficient in engineering software and tools.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Ability to work under pressure in fast‑paced environments.

Responsibilities

Develop and review technical proposals, specifications and tender documents to ensure client compliance.
Conduct technical and commercial evaluations of tenders and subcontractor packages.
Provide technical support during contract negotiations and implementation.
Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with tenders and contracts.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimise tender and contract processes.
Stay up‑to‑date with industry regulations, codes and best practices.
Mentor and guide junior members of the technical team.
