Job summary

Luxoft is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead technology remediation and transformation initiatives for a major bank client in Kuala Lumpur. You will plan, coordinate, and govern complex projects, manage dependencies, and align outcomes with regulatory and business goals.

The role emphasizes stakeholder and vendor coordination, reporting, and governance across technology, applications, and infrastructure domains, with a strong focus on risk mitigation and delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of IT project management experience.
• Proven track record delivering infrastructure, platform, application, or technology transformation projects.
• Experience delivering multiple concurrent technology projects.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, dependency management, and lifecycle management.
• Experience upgrading, migrating, replacing, or decommissioning technologies.
• Understanding of hardware, software, OS, databases, middleware, and cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of EOL/EOS and vendor lifecycle management.
• Experience in project risk and issue management and escalation.
• Strong stakeholder, vendor, and cross-functional team management skills.
• Excellent communication, documentation, reporting, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Project planning and delivery planning from initiation to closure.
• Define scope, milestones, timelines, deliverables, and resource plans.
• Coordinate upgrades, migrations, replacements, and decommissioning activities.
• Ensure delivery aligns with technical, business, regulatory, and organizational requirements.
• Manage schedules, dependencies, and critical paths across teams.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities with applications, infrastructure, security, vendors, and business teams.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation to minimize disruptions.
• Act as primary liaison between technology teams, business owners, and governance forums.
• Prepare status reports, dashboards, and executive updates.
• Coordinate transition and handover to operations; conduct post-implementation reviews.
