Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking teachers to narrow learning gaps for students in line with the national syllabus (KSSR/KSSM). This role aids children from B40 communities to access quality resources.

You will design and deliver engaging lessons, monitor progress, maintain records, and support center operations. Hours: Mon-Fri 1:00 PM–9:00 PM; Salary: RM 2,200–2,600; Contract: Permanent, Full-Time. Related to educational tech use and parental communication.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Education or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching in primary/secondary education.
  • Good communication in English, Tamil and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to use educational technology to create engaging lessons.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum.
  • Provide individualized instruction to meet students' needs.
  • Monitor progress and give regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Maintain accurate student records and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee daily administrative and operational functions of the center.

Job Description
  • Responsible for designing and delivering engaging and effective lessons to primary school students in line with the curriculum
  • Provide individualized attention and tailored instruction to meet students’ unique learning needs and help them reach their full potential.
  • Monitor and assess students’ academic progress, providing regular and constructive feedback to students and parents to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate student records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Oversee daily administrative and operational functions of the center, ensuring efficient scheduling, effective resource management, and proper upkeep of facilities.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Education or other equivalents
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in primary and/or secondary education.
  • Good communication skills in English, Tamil, and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster positive and supportive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a collaborative learning environment.
  • Able to use educational technology and software to create engaging, interactive, and effective learning experiences.
