Job summary

Macdonald & Company Limited, based in Kuala Lumpur, seeks a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead end-to-end recruitment for technical, engineering and corporate roles. You will partner with hiring managers, proactively source talent, and build pipelines for current and future needs, while managing screening, offers, onboarding and a strong candidate experience.

You will also contribute to employer branding, campus recruitment and HR initiatives to support business growth in APAC.

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on Talent Acquisition / Recruitment experience.
• Experience recruiting engineering, technical or project-based professionals would be highly preferred.
• Strong sourcing and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals, ATS and HR systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment across technical, engineering, project and corporate positions.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and develop effective hiring strategies.
• Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, job platforms, referrals and professional networks.
• Develop talent pipelines for current and future hiring requirements.
• Manage candidate screening, interviews, offers, reference checks and onboarding coordination.
• Maintain a strong candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Support employer branding, career fairs, campus recruitment and talent attraction activities.
• Contribute to employee engagement and other HR initiatives when required.
