Job summary

City University Malaysia is seeking a proactive Talent Acquisition Executive to drive end-to-end recruitment across academic and non-academic roles. You will source, screen, and manage offers, working closely with hiring managers to translate manpower needs into effective hiring plans.

You will build pipelines through LinkedIn and job portals, explore creative channels, track progress, and maintain accurate hiring data.

Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing, screening and offer stage. Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies to attract quality candidates across different functions and levels for both Academic & Non-Academic roles.

Key responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing, screening and offer stage

Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline through LinkedIn, job portals, networking and other creative sourcing channels

Partner closely with hiring managers to understand manpower needs, role requirements and candidate expectations

Proactively identify alternative sourcing approaches when traditional recruitment channels are not yielding the right candidates

Track recruitment progress, provide regular updates and maintain accurate hiring data and records

Experience and personality we are looking for

Strong recruitment experience, preferably with exposure to Executive to Director level roles

A resourceful and proactive personality

Comfortable thinking beyond the usual sourcing methods and exploring new ways to reach the right talent

Strong follow-up mentality, with the ability to stay focused and work through challenging vacancies

Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage hiring managers and candidates at different levels

Able to work independently, prioritise effectively and make practical decisions in a fast-paced environment

Positive, adaptable and willing to take ownership from start to finish

Comfortable working with recruitment data, targets and timelines

Diploma/Degree in any field
