Job summary

Links International is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure professional in Malaysia to configure and maintain HR/payroll systems, monitor servers and networks, and manage cloud and on‑premise environments. The role includes security, backups, disaster recovery, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Applicants should have 5+ years in IT infrastructure, strong networking, and bilingual proficiency in Cantonese and English.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT infrastructure and systems/database experience.
• Strong networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls.
• Fluent in spoken Cantonese and English.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain databases and system settings within HR and payroll system.
• Provide application support and troubleshooting for payroll teams.
• Monitor performance and health of servers, network devices, storage, and cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure incidents and problems within SLA.
• Manage on premises and/or cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, VMware, Hyper V).
• Deploy and manage virtual machines, containers, and storage resources.
• Maintain patching, backups, and disaster recovery processes.
• Support LAN/WAN, VPN, Wi Fi, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Assist in network monitoring, capacity planning, and configuration updates.
• Implement and enforce security best practices, including identity management, system hardening, and vulnerability remediation.
• Monitor logs and alerts for potential threats.
• Support audits, compliance checks, and documentation.
• Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and technology rollouts.
• Prepare technical documentation, diagrams, and change requests.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams (IT Support, Cybersecurity, Application Teams).
• Recommend enhancements for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Evaluate new tools, technologies, and automation opportunities.
