Job summary

Airswift is seeking an experienced Structural Lead Engineer to lead topside structural engineering activities across Concept, FEED and Detailed Design for major offshore and FPSO projects. The role requires strong leadership and coordination with clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies.

The ideal candidate will have 15 years in structural engineering, including 10 in a lead/senior capacity, with FPSO offshore topside exposure and registration with BEM; PE certification is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• Around 15 years of structural engineering experience, including around 10 years in a lead/senior role.
• Strong FPSO and offshore topside project experience.
• Experience across Concept, FEED and Detailed Design phases.
• BEM registration or equivalent professional accreditation.
• PE certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop design basis, technical specifications, studies, calculations and drawings.
• Review contractor and consultant deliverables for compliance with requirements.
• Identify design improvements and manage technical risks.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, vendors, EPC contractors, and regulators.
• Mentor engineers and support technical capability development.
