Job summary

Airswift is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to lead offshore FPSO structural design and detailed engineering activities. The role focuses on delivering major FPSO projects with emphasis on accuracy, compliance, and effective collaboration across disciplines.

You will develop and review structural calculations and drawings, perform assessments of topsides and supports, and ensure alignment with project specifications and international design codes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas
• Strong background in Detailed Engineering
• Experience in offshore structural design, analysis, and engineering calculations for FPSO facilities
• Proficiency in relevant structural engineering software and international design codes
• Strong coordination and communication skills within multidisciplinary engineering teams

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design and detailed engineering activities for FPSO projects.
• Develop and review structural calculations, reports, drawings, and engineering deliverables.
• Conduct structural assessments for topsides, modules, decks, pipe racks, and support structures.
• Coordinate with piping, process, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation teams to ensure design integration.
• Support design reviews, constructability assessments, and technical evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.
