Renesas Electronics Corp. in Penang, Malaysia, seeks an experienced Operations Engineering professional to design and deliver custom software for factory automation, MES integration, and real-time monitoring across the manufacturing floor.

You will lead containerized deployments with Docker/Kubernetes, drive end-to-end projects, and collaborate with IT, OPS, ISD, SW&D, and Product Line PGs to improve yield, productivity and overall factory efficiency.

Formación

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 8–10 years in software development/engineering (semiconductor or factory-operations preferred).
• Strong software fundamentals across Windows & Linux; Python and C/C++ primary languages.
• Hands-on factory-automation/equipment-integration experience (SECS/GEM).
• Containerization/deployment with Docker and Kubernetes.
• English proficiency (written & verbal).

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain custom software tools and automation for Operations Engineering and the manufacturing floor.
• Integrate shop-floor equipment and MES via SECS/GEM for connectivity, tool control, and real-time monitoring.
• Develop and deploy containerized applications connecting operations systems and PMO workflows.
• Lead projects from initiation through delivery including scope, schedule, risk, and resourcing with stakeholders.
• Define and improve engineering and project-management processes and standards.
• Collaborate with IT and vendors on infrastructure, cloud, security, and shared tooling.
