Renesas Electronics seeks a senior Operations Engineering lead to design and deliver custom software and automation for the factory floor and Operations Engineering. You will connect MES and shop-floor equipment, and drive end-to-end rollout with cross-functional teams across IT, OPS, and Product Lines.

The role requires 8–10 years in software engineering in semiconductor or manufacturing settings, strong Windows/Linux skills, and expertise in Python, C/C++, and containerized deployments using

Competenze

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 8–10 years in software development/engineering, semiconductor or factory-operations preferred.
• Strong fundamentals on Windows and Linux; core languages include Python and C/C++.
• Hands-on factory-automation/equipment-integration experience; MES integration and SECS/GEM.
• Containerization and deployment with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal).

Mansioni

• Build and maintain custom software tools and automation for Operations Engineering and the factory floor.
• Integrate shop-floor equipment and MES via SECS/GEM for connectivity and real-time monitoring.
• Develop and deploy containerized applications connecting operations systems and PMO workflows.
• Lead projects from initiation through delivery, managing scope, schedule, risks, and resources.
• Define and improve engineering and project-management processes and standards.
• Collaborate with IT and vendors on infrastructure, cloud, security, and shared tooling for scalability.
