Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corporation is seeking a senior Operations Engineering professional to design and deliver custom software and automation for OED and Operations—integrating with MES and equipment on the manufacturing floor. You will project-manage end-to-end rollouts across multiple PGs to improve factory efficiency and yield.

The role requires deep software engineering experience, factory-automation familiarity, and containerization skills with Docker/Kubernetes, plus strong English

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• 8–10 years in software development/engineering (semiconductor or factory-ops preferred).
• Strong Windows/Linux fundamentals with Python and C/C++.

Responsibilities

• Build & maintain custom software tools and automation for Operations Engineering and the manufacturing floor.
• Integrate shop-floor equipment and MES via SECS/GEM for connectivity, control, and real-time monitoring.
• Develop & deploy containerized applications (Docker/Kubernetes) that connect ops systems and PMO workflows.
• Drive projects from initiation to delivery, managing scope, schedule, risk, and resources with stakeholders.
• Define and improve engineering and project-management processes and standards (issue tracking, requirements mgmt, metrics).
• Collaborate with IT and vendors on infrastructure, cloud, security, and shared tooling for scalability.
