Job summary

Executive Compass Malaysia is seeking an experienced ENEPIG Process Engineer to maintain and improve the ENEPIG plating process, ensuring product quality, process stability, yield improvements and cost optimization.

You will support daily manufacturing operations, drive continuous improvement projects with production, quality, maintenance and technology teams, and lead yield monitoring, tool qualification and cost-reduction initiatives.

Qualifications

• Min degree holder in Microelectronics / Electrical Engineering/ Mechatronics/ Mechanical/ Science.
• Min 8 years of experience as process engineer.
• Knowledge of ENEPIG & electroplating process.
• Proficient in JMP, Minitab, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Deep understanding of ENEPIG plating process including tool configuration, materials, defect control, set up procedures and cross functional impact.
• Support daily manufacturing operation including chemical, process and operation issue sustaining to ensure product quality and process stability.
• Support NPI and engineering test run; conduct process qualification and reliability evaluation.
• Meet and achieve Department KPI defined.
• New tool installation and qualification; timely resolve all issues encountered.
• Participate in cost reduction projects including material changes and process changes.
• Support and implement technologies into mass production after development and qualification by PPD Engineering.
• Lead yield baseline and improve yield performance, yield monitoring, low yield analysis and IPP improvement.
• Run rate and lead time improvement; recipe optimization and management for ENP during HVM stage.

Summary of Position:

• Responsible in maintaining and improving ENEPIG (ENP) plating process to ensure product quality, process stability, yield improvement and cost optimization.
• Support daily manufacturing operations, drive continuous improvement projects and work closely with production, quality and maintenance and Technology development team.
• Fulfil all department KPI
• ENP & other SF process sustaining and find potential improvement possibilities
• Cost saving project
• Executions of process, yield and tools output improvement during HVM stage
• Support & execute cross functional activities to fulfil department KPI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deep understanding and knowledge in ENP plating process including tool configuration, materials, defect control, set up procedures and cross functional impact.
• Support daily manufacturing operation including chemical, process and operation issue sustaining in order to ensure product quality and process stability
• Support NPI (New Product Introduction) and engineering test run. Conduct process qualification and reliability evaluation.
• Meet and achieve Department KPI defined.
• New tool installation and qualification. Timely resolved all the issues encountered.
• Participate and achieve AURORA and cost reduction project including material change, BCP, process change, etc
• Support and involve to ensure implementation of all necessary technologies into mass production after development and qualification by PPD Engineering
• PIC in handling any process or operation related excursion issue happen in ENP process. Follow Change Control Management system at all times and zero excursion target.
• Lead in yield baseline and improve yield performance, yield monitoring, low yield analysis and IPP improvement
• Run Rate & lead time improvement
• Recipe optimization and management for ENP during HVM stage.
• Participate in work group/ task force for any process integration issues.
• Perform internal role-specific Line Audits and identify any risk activity that can affect safety, product, and process or equipment stability.
• Contact window for SRSF department related chemical material involve forecast, disposition and purchase of the chemical.
• Representative of SRSF PLE in the case of superior not around. Understanding of overall SRSF department in order to represent overall SRSF PLE.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Min degree holder in Microelectronics / Electrical Engineering/ Mechatronics/ Mechanical/ Science
• Min 8 years of experience in/as process engineer
• Knowledge of ENEPIG & electroplating process
• Proficient in JMP, minitab, excel and PowerPoint
• Good communication and teamwork skill
• Able to work independently in a fast paced manufacturing environment
