Job summary

The ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors team seeks an experienced Process Engineer to sustain and optimize lithography operations (coat, expose, develop) and drive continuous improvement in quality, yield, and cost. You will monitor KPIs, lead root-cause analyses, and mentor technicians and junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical, Electronics, Production Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years working experience in Lithography in coat, exposure, develop. Knowledge in litho tools (Canon, SVS, Suess, DNS, Tel or Scanner) is a must
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Sustain and optimize Photolithography processes including coat, expose, and develop operations.
• Drive process improvement activities to enhance quality, yield, productivity, and cost performance.
• Monitor and control process KPIs including defectivity, CpK, process capability, and stability. Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for process-related issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing, engineering builds, and technology transfer activities. Lead and mentor Process Technicians and junior engineers in daily process and technical activities. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and manufacturing standards.

The Business Unit can look back on almost fifty years of production and development expertise.

• Sustain and optimize Photolithography processes including coat, expose, and develop operations.
• Drive process improvement activities to enhance quality, yield, productivity, and cost performance.Monitor and control process KPIs including defectivity, CpK, process capability, and stability. Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for process-related issues.Involve in process qualification, process characterization, and recipe optimization activities
• Drive Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP) to improve operational efficiency and manufacturing performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing, engineering builds, and technology transfer activities. Lead and mentor Process Technicians and junior engineers in daily process and technical activities. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and manufacturing standards.
• To have good leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. Support equipment team for equipment troubleshooting.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks and strategic initiatives assigned by management. Maintain proper documentation, records, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

• At least 5 years working experience in Lithography in coat, exposure, develop. Knowledge in litho tools (Canon, SVS, Suess, DNS, Tel or Scanner) is a must
• Experience in leading technician
