Job summary

ams OSRAM Malaysia (Kedah) is seeking an Associate Engineer, Equipment Engineering (Lithography) to provide line support for lithography equipment setup, recovery and preventive maintenance. You will troubleshoot advanced issues on Canon, SVS, Suess, DNS, Tel or Scanner tools and ensure 5S, Cleanroom and Safety compliance.

The role includes supporting tool installation and qualification, planning projects to boost Overall Equipment Effectiveness, training junior technicians and collaborating

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical, Electronics, Production Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years working experience in Lithography (coat, exposure, develop).
• Experience with lithography equipment (Canon, SVS, Suess, DNS, Tel or Scanner).

Responsibilities

• Provide line support for equipment setup, recovery and maintenance to meet KPIs.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance and document PM activities.
• Train junior technicians for line sustaining activities.
• Plan and execute projects to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (Speed/Cost/Quality).
• Support process team for evaluation and process verification.
• Able to read schematic diagrams, robot arms and sensors.

Associate Engineer, Equipment Engineering (Lithography)

Provide line support for equipment setup, recovery & corrective maintenance to meet KPIs defined in the Litho department.

Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) and complete PM documentation as required.

Able to perform advance machine troubleshooting. Knowledge to litho tools (Canon, SVS, Suess, DNS, Tel or Scanner) is a must.

Ensure the compliance to 5S, Cleanroom & Safety Protocol.

Support the Tools setup, installation & qualification.

Plan & execute projects to improve Overall Equipment Efficiencies (Speed/Cost/Quality).

Train junior technicians to attain and improve skills & competencies for line sustaining activities.

Support process team for evaluation & process verification.

Job Requirements

Candidate must have at least a Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical, Electronics, Production Engineering or equivalent.

At least 3 years working experience in Lithography in coat, exposure, develop.

Experienced with Lithography equipments (Canon, SVS, Suess, DNS, Tel or Scanner), able to read schematic diagrams, robot arms, sensors.

Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia

Good interpersonal skills, responsible and able to handle stress.

Good with MS Office suites - MS Words, MS Excel, MS Power Point

Able to work in rotating shift pattern.
