Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Penang, Malaysia seeks a Senior Staff Electrical Engineer to lead hardware development for body-worn camera systems. You will own the hardware lifecycle from concept to mass production, balancing power, thermal, and reliability constraints for field operations.

Responsibilities

Own hardware lifecycle from concept to mass production for BWC systems.
Design, schematic capture, and layout supervision for multi-layer PCBs (HDI) with image sensors and PMICs.
Achieve low-power, battery-efficient PDN while controlling thermal signatures.
Integrate Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE, GPS/GNSS, HDR sensors, and multi-mic arrays.
Ensure ruggedization to MIL-STD-810H, IP67/IP68, and ESD standards; support FCC/CE certification.
