Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Electrical Hardware Engineer to design high‑performance RF sub‑circuits for professional and mission‑critical markets, including transmitters, FGUs and receivers for LMR systems.

You will drive cross‑functional hardware development, perform rigorous debugging, support production and create detailed test plans and documentation, using Cadence Allegro/OrCAD and simulation tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical RF/ Electronics/ Telecommunications.
• 3–5 years of direct RF hardware design experience.
• Cadence for schematic capture and PCB layout; ADS or CST experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• RF hardware development for LMR modems, including Tx/Rx, FGU, and VCO components.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory certifications and conformance testing.
• Develop PCB layouts and perform cross-functional hardware/software integration.
• Create test plans, reports, and design change documentation.
