Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Malaysia is seeking a skilled Electrical/Electronic/Communication Engineer to design and develop highly sophisticated communication products for professional and mission-critical markets. You will use ADS/PSPICE/SI tools and Mentor Graphics/Cadence to model, simulate, and verify RF and digital sub-systems before PCB fabrication.

You will collaborate with a team of engineers to create robust infrastructure, subscribers, and accessory designs, with opportunities to work on

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Communication Engineering or related disciplines.
Advanced degrees (MSc/MEng or PhD) are an added advantage.
Basic understanding in RF/digital controller/audio related fields depending on the area.
Experience with RF/digital measurement equipment (spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes).
Simulation experience in ADS/PSPICE/SI tools is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Design and develop communication products for professional and mission-critical markets.
Use Modeling & Simulation Software to create and evaluate designs, including RF and digital sub-systems.
Collaborate with a team of engineers to realize infrastructure, subscribers and accessories that meet customer requirements.
Work on RF, digital controller, power and audio circuits including sub-circuits like receivers, transmitters, VCOs, amplifiers, filters and mixers.
