Job summary

Agroto Business (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Kitchen Supervisor to oversee large-scale prep and daily production for 400+ portions per meal. The role covers dish preparation, quality checks, staff leadership, inventory oversight, and strict safety adherence.

You will work closely with department managers for events, train new hires on SOPs and hygiene, and ensure mise en place is completed for service. The candidate should manage a multi-level kitchen team in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise large-scale prep and production of dishes for 400+ portions per meal
• Assist to prepare and cook dishes during peak hours if needed
• Taste and inspect all dishes before they are served
• Ensure every dish is prepared according to the SOP in place
• Monitor all kitchen work stations and ensure they are set up and functioning efficiently
• Manage food serving team to ensure it is served with correct portions
• Liaise with respective department Managers for Special event orders and execution
• Manage all kitchen staff according to their positions, junior sous chef, chef de parties, line chefs, and prep cooks
• Train new hires on kitchen (SOP) procedures, recipes, hygiene and safety standards
• Assign task and responsibilities to kitchen team and ensure all mise en place is completed for service
