Job summary

InsiderSecurity in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a software engineer to develop or enhance innovative cybersecurity software products and design scalable architectures.

You will review code, identify performance bottlenecks, refactor where needed, and mentor junior developers while collaborating with teammates to ship new features in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with software development methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, C, Ruby.
• Experience in developing efficient algorithms/code.
• Experience in software technologies such as NoSQL, key-value store, messaging system etc.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Prior experience in cybersecurity is a plus.
• Must be a Malaysian citizen or Malaysian Permanent Resident.
