Job summary

InsiderSecurity is seeking a software testing professional in Kuala Lumpur to ensure the quality of cybersecurity software through manual and automated testing. You will design test plans, execute test cases, and drive defect resolution in collaboration with developers and product teams.

The role requires 2–5 years in software testing, strong testing methodology knowledge, and the ability to work in a hybrid setup with up to two days remote.

Qualifications

• Must have solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with test case management and tracking defects.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Execute manual and automated test cases to ensure the quality of cybersecurity software products.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

• Conduct functional, regression, performance, and security testing.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Between two (minimum) and five years of experience in software testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience with test case management tools.
• Familiarity with test automation tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases, key-value stores, and messaging systems is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills to identify and troubleshoot issues.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Prior experience in cybersecurity testing is a plus.
• Must be a Malaysian citizen or Malaysian Permanent Resident.
