Job summary

MTD Capital Bhd is seeking a Site Supervisor (Property Development) to monitor daily site activities and ensure construction works adhere to approved drawings, standards, and quality requirements. The role involves witnessing tests, coordinating with contractors and authorities, and maintaining thorough project documentation.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Certificate in a related field, is registered as IOW/COW, and has 5–10 years of construction supervision experience, preferably in

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate in Architecture, Building, Engineering, or related field.
• Registered with BEM and/or CIDB as Inspector of Works (IOW) or Clerk of Works (COW).
• 5–10 years of relevant working experience in construction supervision.
• Preferably with experience in building or infrastructure works.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily site activities and report progress, non-conformities, and issues affecting quality, cost, or schedule.
• Assist to ensure workmanship and construction methods comply with approved specifications, standards, drawings, and good practice.
• Witness testing and commissioning of works, including concrete cube tests and M&E testing.
• Monitor and verify corrective actions and defect rectifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and authorities for smooth site implementation.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality and progress.
• Attend site meetings and flag technical, site, quality, or safety issues.
• Assist in final inspections and certification, including CCC and partial handover where applicable.
