Job summary

GAMUDA is seeking a Civil & Structural Engineering graduate to assist the Construction Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing on-site works for civil projects. You will develop solutions on site, prepare method statements, and ensure timely progress through effective collaboration with supervisors, surveyors, and subcontractors.

The role requires a degree in civil and structural engineering, proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering or equivalent field.

Responsibilities

Attends to technical matters on site by developing solutions to problems with engineering concepts.
Assist the Construction Manager in planning work and resources to ensure timely progress.
Coordinate with supervisors, surveyors, laboratory personnel, foremen, and sub-contractors for effective teamwork.
Prepare the method statements and construction shop drawings for submission and timely approvals.
Comply with the QMS through preparation of site documentation such as RFIs and site diaries.
Attend to site inspections of the work trades.
Adhere to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment requirements related to the job scope and workplace.
Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
