Job summary

Gates Corporation in Penang, Malaysia, seeks a Senior Analyst for Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) to align demand and supply, optimize inventory, and support executive decisions. Based in Penang, the role drives forecast accuracy, inventory turns, OTTR, and plan adherence.

You will simulate demand and supply scenarios, manage risks, track KPIs, and build dashboards (Excel, Power BI, SAP IBP) for SIOP reviews in line with global vision.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years, proven track record in overall sales, inventory & operations planning within a manufacturing/engineering/logistics environment.
• Strong collaboration & communication skills.
• Ability to take on a regional & global perspective.
• Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead demand-supply alignment and SIOP processes to optimize forecast accuracy and inventory turns.
• Prepare and present dashboards and reports (Excel, Power BI, SAP IBP) for SIOP review.
• Manage risk and run scenario analyses to support executive decisions.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across Sales, Supply Chain, Finance and Operations.
