Job summary

Gates Corporation in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a Senior Analyst for Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP). The role focuses on demand-supply alignment, inventory optimization, scenario planning and executive support to improve forecast accuracy and service levels.

You will build dashboards (Excel, Power BI, SAP IBP) and collaborate across Sales, Supply Chain, Finance and Operations. A minimum of five years in SIOP within manufacturing is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years, proven track record in overall sales, inventory & operations planning within a manufacturing/engineering/logistics environment.
• Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• Possess strong Collaboration & Communication.
• Ability to take on a regional & global perspective.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly SIOP cadence, including demand and supply reviews, KPI reporting, and executive presentations.
• Planning parameter revision update and maintenance; cascading changes to cross-functional teams and master data update.
• Track and report key metrics such as forecast accuracy, OTIF, inventory turns, and plan adherence.
• Maintain the SIOP calendar and data refresh cycle to ensure timely and accurate planning.
• Facilitate demand and supply review meetings by preparing and distributing updated data packs and scenario analyses.
