Job summary

Silterra Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable engineer to advance Silicon Photonics process integration and development at its Kulim facility in Kedah. You will drive optical test characterization to enable integration, yield debugging, and address development roadblocks, and participate in customer tape-out activities before mass production.

Education: PhD, master's or bachelor's in Silicon Photonics related field; you are self-motivated, a good team player, and able to work independently with

Attend customer meetings and conference calls.
Flexible in supporting customer tape-out requests to resolve technical roadblocks.
Education requirement: PhD, master's or bachelor's degree in Silicon Photonics related field.

Responsibilities

Work on Silicon Photonics process integration and development.
Involve in optical test characterization and analysis to enable integration, yield debugging and development roadblocks.
Work on the tape out for customers' product chips tape out prior to mass production stage.
Participate in the innovation activities, publication, patents submission and roadshow support to promote Silterra’s capability in Silicon Photonics process development and manufacturing excellence.
