Job summary

ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors in Kuala Lumpur seeks a senior process engineer to lead and own key manufacturing processes. You will drive robust process development, design for manufacturability, and ensure alignment with factory capabilities, working with process engineering and QA teams.

Responsibilities include monitoring critical parameters, managing control plans and FMEA, supporting site transfers, and driving yield improvements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Physics, Chemistry or Materials Science or related field.
• Experience in semiconductor/LED fabrication processes is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using Six Sigma and related methods.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own critical process development and control plans.
• Drive design for manufacturability and mass-production readiness.
• Monitor critical parameters and support tool roadmap alignment.
• Lead cross-functional teams for process transfers and yield improvements.
