Job summary

Globetronics Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Production Officer/Senior to support semiconductor manufacturing operations and achieve targets safely and efficiently. The role spans production, QA and engineering collaboration to improve processes and quality.

Ideal candidates will have hands‑on experience in high‑volume manufacturing, a strong grasp of manufacturing KPIs, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant semiconductor industry experience.
• Experience in QA or Engineering within semiconductor preferred.
• Strong understanding of high‑volume manufacturing operations and KPIs (yield, OEE, throughput).

Responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day production operations to meet plans, output, quality and delivery targets.
• Monitor line performance: output, yield, cycle time, downtime, WIP and OEE.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials and workflow for smooth operations.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, quality standards and safety requirements.
• Identify abnormalities, equipment issues and process deviations; drive CAPA with Engineering/QA.
• Contribute to root cause analysis and corrective actions; support 5‑Why, Fishbone, 8D.
• Prepare daily production and KPI reports and maintain manufacturing documentation.
