Job summary

Broadcom in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a senior-level supply chain planner to lead demand planning and manufacturing coordination for semiconductor ICs. You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and external contract manufacturers to optimize production plans and ensure on-time delivery and revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; engineering background is a plus.
• 10–12 years in manufacturing, supply chain planning or related field in Semiconductor or EE industry.
• Experience defining supply chain processes and implementing best practices.
• Ability to prepare communication plans to CM, customers, sales or executive management.
• Good data analysis skill and hands-on experience.
• Excellent team player and able to lead internal and external communications.
• Advanced knowledge in MS Office (Excel) and experience with MRP systems; Oracle preferred.
• Proven ability to make financially sound decisions in a fast-paced market.
• Willingness to work off hours/extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the demand planning and supply of Semiconductor IC products.
• Rationalize demand forecasts and customer demand with Sales and Marketing to determine optimum production plans for on-time delivery and revenue achievement.
• Generate and monitor material requirements, capacity requirements, and build plan schedules and develop a planning strategy for ensuring timely product delivery.
• Interface & Manage outsource manufacturing partners to ensure day-to-day prioritization and execution of production orders.
• Interface with engineering and all Business Unit to secure Outsource manufacturing partner capacity.
• Manage internal & external business communication on capacity allocation.
• Project and control inventory movement to achieve given DOH target.
