Job summary

Broadcom Inc. is seeking an experienced supply chain planner to manage demand and supply for semiconductor IC products in Penang, Malaysia. You will rationalize forecasts with Sales and Marketing to determine optimal production plans that ensure on-time delivery and revenue targets.

The role requires 10–12 years in manufacturing or supply chain planning within the semiconductor or EE industry, with strong data analysis, Excel/MRP skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Engineering background is an advantage.
• 10–12 years experience in manufacturing, supply chain planning, or production planning in semiconductor/EE industry.
• Experience defining supply chain processes and implementing best practices.
• Ability to prepare communication plans for CM, customers, sales or exec mgmt.
• Strong data analysis skills; hands-on.
• Excellent teamwork and ability to lead internal & external communications.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel; experience with MRP systems; Oracle is a plus.
• Proven track record of making financially sound decisions in fast-paced market.
• Willingness to work off-hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage demand and supply of semiconductor IC products.
• Rationalize demand forecasts with Sales & Marketing to determine production plans for on-time delivery and revenue.
• Generate and monitor material, capacity requirements and build schedules; develop a planning strategy.
• Coordinate with outsource manufacturing partners for daily prioritization and execution.
• Engage with engineering and business units to secure outsource capacity.
• Manage internal and external communications on capacity allocation.
• Project and control inventory movement to meet DOH targets.
