Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is searching for a Senior Sales & Technical Manager to lead the team in driving revenue and strategic growth in highly engineered thermal management solutions. You will oversee complex bids, evaluate tenders, and ensure technically compliant, cost-effective outcomes for key accounts and new markets.

You will mentor a high-performance team, define KPIs, manage pipelines, and review margins and risk on major contracts to secure long-term success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or equivalent engineering qualification.
• 5 years of technical/engineering sales or business development experience.
• Proven track record in high-value B2B negotiations, complex technical proposals, and project oversight.
• Strong commercial acumen and pipeline management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual sales strategies to achieve revenue, gross profit, and new business targets.
• Lead major commercial negotiations, build long-term relationships with key accounts, contractors, and consultants, and expand into new market segments.
• Oversee technical evaluations of customer tenders, drawings, and specs to deliver compliant, cost-effective, and custom-engineered solutions.
• Mentor and manage the Sales & Technical team, establishing clear KPIs, sales pipelines, and technical capability plans.
• Review product costing, profit margins, and risk exposure before approving major proposals and contracts.
