Job summary

MOXY Putrajaya is seeking a driven Senior Sales Manager to lead business development, grow revenue, and build lasting client partnerships. You will identify opportunities for group, corporate, and catering business, negotiate contracts, and oversee seamless delivery from inquiry to event execution.

You will work closely with Operations, Events, and Revenue Management teams to maximize revenue while delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales, Hospitality, Business Development, or a related field.
• Hospitality, Business, Marketing or related qualifications are an advantage.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify, develop, and secure new group, corporate, and catering business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, business partners, and key accounts.
• Manage the sales process from prospecting and negotiation through contracting and handover.
• Conduct sales calls, networking events, client meetings, site inspections, and familiarization trips.
• Develop strategic sales plans to drive market share, revenue growth, and account development.
• Create customized proposals and solutions that meet client needs and business objectives.
• Maximize revenue through upselling guest rooms, meeting spaces, catering services, and event packages.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and business opportunities to identify growth potential.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Events, and Revenue Management teams to ensure exceptional service delivery.
• Ensure business is transitioned smoothly to operational teams for flawless event execution.
• Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, contracts, and account information.
• Consistently achieve and exceed personal and departmental revenue targets.
