Job summary

Hyundai Elevator Malaysia Sdn Bhd seeks a Senior Sales Engineer for Modernization & Total Replacement in Kuala Lumpur. You will identify modernization leads, conduct site surveys, prepare tender submissions, negotiate pricing, and secure sales orders while coordinating with service and project teams.

The candidate should have 5+ years in the elevator industry, a Bachelor/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering, and strong planning, communication, and travel willingness.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ experience in elevator industry.
• Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
• Excellent computer skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good letter writing.
• Good knowledge in sales lift installation.
• Good planning and organisational skills.
• Customer-oriented and have strong interpersonal skills.
• High integrity with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to travel when required.

Responsibilities

• Actively seek for new Modernization / Total Replacement leads and inquiry.
• Conduct on site surveys/ site measurements.
• Negotiation with factory and supplier to obtain best pricing for proposal submission.
• Prepare tender/ proposal submission, obtain costing approval up to Top Management.
• Slide preparation and presentation to customer, attend tender negotiations and secure sales order.
• Order equipment from factory, arrange for equipment delivery.
• Assist in Modernization project execution, ensure installation works carried out on timely manner.
• Handover units on timely manner.
• Ensure MYSKUD application is done for Code & Compliance Department in timely manner.
• Work closely with Service Operation, Service Sales, Project Installation, Testing and Code & Compliance department.
• Ensure proper filling for all correspondences.
• Reply to all correspondence during project and modernization implementation.
• Ensure JKKP inspection is carried out accordingly for modernization lifts requiring new JKKP inspection.
• Ensure billing and collection is done on timely manner.
• Ensure site safety is fully adhered during project implementation.
• Ensure customer complaints were resolve promptly.
• Provide support and services to existing and new clients, to maintain and/or establish new business relationships and contacts, planning design influence and future sales.
• Analyse, review building information, drawings, tender documents, specifications provided by building architects, consultants, developers and owners.
