Job summary

Ambition is seeking a Senior RTR Analyst based in Petaling Jaya to lead global Record-to-Report activities across 18+ countries. You will own multi-country RTR processes, drive improvements, and partner with stakeholders in a fast-moving shared services environment.

The role requires a finance professional with RTR expertise, IFRS knowledge, and strong SAP reporting skills. Mandarin is a bonus as the team supports diverse markets.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; CPA/MIA or equivalent preferred.
• At least 3 years' experience in accounting or a shared services centre, with a clear RTR focus.
• Proficient in SAP (HANA/Fiori) and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Google Looker.
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS and multi-entity accounting principles.
• Effective communicator in English; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
• Experienced in process documentation, root cause analysis, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Intercompany, Fixed Assets, and General Ledger processes.
• Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities in line with IFRS.
• Deliver accurate financial statements and reporting to local and global stakeholders.
• Oversee Corporate Income Tax, VAT/GST, and Withholding Tax compliance.
• Support statutory, internal, and SOX audit processes.
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and RTR standardisation.
• Monitor KPI performance and contribute to finance projects and ad-hoc tasks.
