Job summary

Lam Research in Batu Kawan, Penang, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced Engineer 4 level professional for the RF Power Group in SET Engineering. The role focuses on ensuring supplier processes meet quality standards through robust QA programs and cross-functional collaboration with global suppliers.

You will analyze production data, implement corrective actions, and lead root cause investigations while partnering with suppliers to sustain high-quality, reliable semiconductor equipment

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/RF Engineering with >5 years' experience.
• Experience with High Power RF environments from 1 to 60 MHz is a plus.
• Quality certification such as CRE, CQE, CSSGB or Green Belt.

Responsibilities

• Act as an expert with Electrical RF systems to resolve complex quality challenges in manufacturing.
• Own accountability for quality and timely execution of supplier engineering projects.
• Travel to Lam supplier locations to oversee assessments and improvements.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop supply chain strategies.
• Manage supplier escalations with clear issue summaries and resolution plans.
• Drive supplier development and continuous improvement in manufacturing and test processes.
• Function as a strategic technical liaison between suppliers and product teams.
