Lam Research in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking an Engineer 4 in RF Power SET Engineering. The role focuses on ensuring supplier manufacturing processes meet quality standards through QA programs, audits, and continuous improvement across global supplier locations.

You will analyze production data, collaborate on root-cause analyses, and drive actions to improve components, processes, and supply chain resilience. This is a hybrid on-site role with travel to suppliers as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor degree in Electrical/RF with >5 years of relevant experience, or Master’s with >3 years.
• Experience solving semiconductor equipment system and component-level problems.
• Familiarity with high power RF environments (1–60 MHz) is a plus.
• Quality certifications such as CRE, CQE, CSSGB or Green Belt preferred.
• Strong communication and global teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Audit processes and calibrations to drive robust QA at supplier sites.
• Own accountability for quality and timely supplier engineering projects.
• Travel to Lam and supplier locations for assessments and investigations.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on supply chain strategies and improvements.
• Manage supplier escalations with clear issue summaries and action plans.
• Drive supplier development and continuous improvement in manufacturing and test processes.
