MajuHome in Klang Valley is seeking an experienced Retail Sales Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales performance, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. This full-time role reports to senior management and manages a team of store staff to achieve targets while maintaining visual merchandising standards.

You will develop and execute sales strategies, monitor performance, recruit and train staff, ensure health and safety compliance, and build strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role in the retail sector.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a diverse team and achieve sales targets.
• Strong customer service skills and familiarity with POS systems and retail software.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Sales Manager to join the MajuHome team in Klang Valley. This is a full-time position that offers a fantastic opportunity to lead and manage our retail operations, driving sales performance and delivering exceptional customer experiences. As Retail Sales Manager, you will play a key strategic role in achieving our sales targets whilst maintaining the highest standards of service and visual merchandising. You will report directly to senior management and be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the store, leading a team of retail staff to success.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily store operations and ensure optimal store presentation, including visual merchandising and stock management
• Lead, train, motivate and supervise a team of retail staff to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service
• Develop and implement sales strategies to maximise revenue and market share
• Monitor sales performance, analyse metrics and identify areas for improvement to drive business growth
• Recruit, onboard and develop high-performing team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and health and safety regulations
• Manage inventory levels, monitor stock rotation and coordinate with the warehouse team
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing concerns and gathering feedback to enhance the customer experience
• Analyse competitor activity and market trends to inform strategic decisions
• Prepare and present regular sales reports and performance updates to senior management
• Contribute towards the branch sales personally

What we're looking for

• 3-5 years of proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role within the retail and consumer products sector
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team
• Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets consistently
• Excellent personalized customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers
• Sound knowledge of point-of-sale systems and retail management software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Proficiency in both English and Malay language is highly desirable
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays as required by retail operations
• A passion for the retail and consumer products industry and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
• Relevant qualifications in business management, retail management or a related field would be advantageous
