Job summary

Talent Recruit in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Retail Consultant to drive mobile plans and device sales at Merdeka 118. The role is a 1-year contract with renewal options and a basic salary of RM 3,000–RM 4,500 plus OT claim.

You will advise customers on plans, upgrades, and add-ons, handle inquiries, activate accounts, and mentor new staff while representing the company at roadshows and events. Fluency in English and Bahasa Melayu is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree holder with at least 5 years' experience in Sales & Service, preferably in the telecommunications or mobile industry
• Experience in sales, retail or telecom is an advantage

Location: Merdeka 118, Kuala Lumpur

Employment Type: 1-Year Contract (Renewable / Convertible to Permanent Staff)

Working Hours

• 9:30 AM – 10:00 PM
• Max. 45 working hours per week
• Monday – Sunday (Rotational Shifts)
• Basic Salary: RM 3,000 – RM 4,500 (based on experience)

Job Responsibilities

• Advise customers on the best mobile plans, devices, and broadband options for their needs.
• Recommend upgrades and add-ons to boost sales and consistently meet targets.

Customer Consultation & Sales

• Advise customers on the best mobile plans, devices, and broadband options for their needs.

Customer Service & Issue Resolution

• Provide high-quality service to build strong, lasting customer relationships.

Account Management & Compliance

• Keep all paperwork and data entry accurate and in line with company rules.

Marketing & Product Knowledge

• Stay updated on the latest promotions, deals, and new product launches.
• Represent the company at roadshows and marketing events to attract new customers.

Leadership & New Hire Training

• Step in to lead the team and manage store operations when needed.
• Train and mentor new team members to help them get up to speed quickly.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree holder with at least 5 years' experience in Sales & Service, preferably in the telecommunications or mobile industry

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Good command of English & Bahasa Melayu (Mandarin is a plus)
