Private Advertiser in Sabah, Malaysia seeks a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer with 20+ years in major projects to lead on-site execution. You will supervise design, liaise with HQ, and manage variations and approvals for government projects.

The role requires BEM/IEM or Ir./PE registration, strong English and Bahasa Malaysia, and a valid CIDB Green Card. Attractive package including housing allowance for expatriates may apply.

Competenze

• Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or Civil & Structural Engineering from a recognized university.
• Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), membership with the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) or Professional Engineer (Ir./PE) qualification will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 20 years of working experience in design and/or supervision of major civil engineering projects in roads, highways, prestressed bridges and piled foundation works.
• Past experience as a Resident Engineer for civil engineering projects implemented by the Government including knowledge of site procedure, works evaluation, variation order to JKR standard, land acquisition process and relocation of existing utility.
• Knowledge of MS Words & Excel, basic AutoCAD and Works Programming software.
• Applicants should be proficient in English & Bahasa Malaysia. Able to communicate effectively with Contractors, Consultants and relevant authorities.
• Able to work hard and independently for site solution and consult with H.Q. office for final decision on material approval and design requirement.
• Possess a valid Malaysian driving licence and a valid CIDB Green Card.
