Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled R&D professional to develop recipes and run kitchen trials in Shah Alam, Malaysia. You will coordinate sensory evals, lab testing, and shelf-life studies while preparing recipes, BOMs, specifications, SOPs, and R&D records.

The role involves coordinating launches with QA, Production, Purchasing and suppliers, monitoring costs, yields, and material usage, ensuring GMP/HACCP/ISO compliance, and mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, Culinary Science, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in food product development, preferably in RTE food manufacturing or central kitchen operations.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, food safety, shelf-life evaluation, and microbiological testing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Strong project coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
