Job summary

Landmark Group in Malaysia seeks a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to provide independent cost, quantity, contract and payment-governance support for retail store projects from feasibility through final account closure.

The role reports to Country Finance, safeguarding approved CAPEX via BOQ validation, market benchmarking, progress-payment review, and complete commercial documentation while coordinating with Projects, Procurement, consultants, contractors and mall management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent recognised qualification.
• 5–10 years relevant experience across pre-contract and post-contract Quantity Surveying, preferably in retail stores, malls, interior fit-out, refurbishment, Civil and MEP projects in Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Cost planning, estimating and BOQ control across Civil, fit-out and MEP works.
• Tendering support, commercial evaluation and like-for-like bid comparisons.
• Project cost control, variation management and change control with documented approvals.
• Measurement, payment certification and contract administration including final accounts.
• Project closure, governance and stakeholder coordination with Finance, Projects and contractors.
