Job summary

Hartamas Real Estate Group in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a proactive Quantity Surveyor to manage project costs and prepare quotations for office interior fit-out and design & build projects from tender through to completion. You will perform take-offs, prepare BOQ, source quotations, evaluate subcontractor bids, monitor budgets, and liaise with clients and project teams.

A Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying with at least 5 years' experience is required, along with strong Excel skills and a

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in office interior fit-out / design & build projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, rates and costing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Office; good communication, negotiation & coordination skills.
• Proactive, organised and able to work independently; team player.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, quotations & tender submissions.
• Quantity take-off, measurement & BOQ preparation.
• Source quotations; liaise with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Evaluate, compare & negotiate subcontractor quotations.
• Prepare project cost comparison & cost analysis; monitor budgets and variations.
• Prepare variation orders & final accounts; liaise with clients and project teams.
