Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building, or related field.
• 2–5 years of interior fit-out, renovation, or construction experience.
• Good understanding of contracts, costing, procurement, and administration.
• Knowledge of interior finishes, furniture, M&E coordination, and fit-out methods.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and quantity take-off software is a plus.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and project budgets for interior fit-out projects.
• Source quotations, evaluate pricing, and prepare cost comparisons.
• Prepare tender documents and analyze submissions; recommend subcontractors and suppliers.
• Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and variations with clients and suppliers.
• Monitor project costs, cash flow, and budget performance.
• Prepare and submit progress claims, payment certificates, and final accounts.
• Evaluate and process subcontractor claims and invoices.
• Manage variation orders (VO), EOT, and contractual documentation.
• Collaborate with Project Manager, Design, Procurement, and Site teams for cost-effective execution.
• Conduct site measurements and valuations when required.
• Maintain accurate costing records and prepare financial reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and Malaysian regulations.
