Job summary

BPX Sdn Bhd is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to manage project costs from budgeting through final accounts. The role requires fast-track project experience, strong English, and proficient cost analysis skills.

You will review tenders, prepare bills of quantities, and coordinate procurement. Travel to sites and client meetings is expected to support project delivery and value for money.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in fast-track projects.
• Minimum 2 years' INDUSTRIAL FACTORY or Data Centre experience.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Excellent client liaison and people management skills.
• Extensive understanding of the construction industry.
• Good analytical, financial and numeracy skills.
• Sound knowledge of contracts and the legal framework.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam and Revit will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in establishing project budgets and cost plans.
• Review pretender estimates and analyse tender submissions.
• Prepare bills of quantities and cost analyses for building/infra projects.
• Review tender and contract documents and assist in procurement.
• Carry out site valuation and interim progress claims monthly.
• Monitor cost control, value management and contractual status.
• Provide cost advice on contractual claims and final accounts.
• Attend site and client meetings for project coordination.
