Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to manage take-offs, cost analysis, and claims for projects in Malaysia. You will prepare monthly site valuation reports, assess material costs, and coordinate with contractors and site personnel to ensure timely progress claims.

Qualifications

• Professional Certificate, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree, Quantity Survey, Engineering Civil or equivalent
• At least 5 years of working experience in construction field
• Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
• Able to work independently and diligently

Responsibilities

• Take off quantity and BQ preparation
• Sourcing for quotation and analyze, compare and evaluate material cost
• Prepare monthly site valuation report and work progress report
• Coordinate with contractor and site personnel
• Prepare the sub-contractor's monthly claims for manager approval
• Evaluate and prepare the project progress claims
