The Quantity Surveyor will handle cost estimates, BOQ, progress claims, final accounts, and tender documentation, coordinating with project teams.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in quantity surveying or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as Quantity Surveyor.
• Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with Glodon and AutoCAD.
• Strong written and oral communication; ability to multitask.
• Good negotiation skills and positive work attitude.

Responsabilités

• Handle the payment cheque with client's QS and arrange despatch to collect payment cheque.
• Prepare and submit interim progress claims, attending site valuation and certification of subcontractors’ payment certificates.
• Prepare progress claims and submit variation orders to main contractor and finalisation of accounts.
• Evaluate and prepare progress payments to sub-contractors.
• Prepare final accounts to sub-contractors.
• Take-off quantities as required by Project Manager or General Manager.
• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
• Prepare BOQ and quotations when required.
• Coordinate with all project teams; contribute to new projects.
• Lead the preparation of tender documents.
• Oversee administration of project-related claims.

Handle the payment cheque with client's QS and arrange despatch to collect payment cheque

Prepare and submit interim progress claims, attending site valuation (if required by main con/sub con) and certification of subcontractors’ payment certificates

Prepare progress claim, submit variation orders claim to main contractor and finalisation of accounts

Evaluate and prepare progress payment to Sub-contractors

Prepare final account to sub-contractors.

Responsible for taking-off quantities as and when required by Project Manager or General Manager.

Handle in preparing cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.

Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and quotations if/when required

Coordinate with all teams involved in the project. - - New Project

Lead the preparation of tender documents.

Responsible for overall administration of project-related claims

Job Requirements

Degree/ Diploma in related fields of Quantity Surveying, building or construction.

Preferably with a minimum of 3 years of working experience as a Quantity Surveyor.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Glodon software, Word & Excel and Autocad will be an added advantage

Strong written and oral communication skills

Able to work independently and handle multitasking

Strong organizational and analytical skills

Good negotiation skills &Good working attitude
