Responsible for negotiation, pre and post contract management including preparation of final accounts;
Ensure verification of claims and recommendations for payments to contractors; subcontractors and nominated sub-contractors;
Manage tender operation set-up schedules and deliverables;
Preparation of tender including cost, document analysis and submission;
Planning and monitoring of tender reports including presentation of approval paper for the appointment of contractors and sub-contractors;
Managing claims and changes;
Knowledge of the principles and practices of risk management, internal auditing, and corporate governance;
To perform risk assessment and coordinate a management review of risk identification;
Requirements:
Degree in Quantity Surveying or its equivalent;
Minimum 6 - 10 years’ experience especially in the Renovation work;
Knowledge of Quality Management and Risk Management will be an added advantage;
Experience in pre & post contract administration including assessment of contractual risks, rights, and obligations;
Excellent analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills;
Able to work independently and to demonstrate maturity in handling different levels of individuals within the organization and external parties.
