Job summary

DapuStor Corporation, a leading maker of SSDs and edge computing products, seeks an experienced production quality manager to oversee new product introductions and mass production quality control in its Johor facility. The role requires cross‑functional collaboration with overseas teams and strong problem‑solving skills.

Ideal candidates hold 5+ years of electronics/ storage industry QA experience, familiar with IATF16949 and ISO9001, and are fluent in English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 5+ years in production quality management.
• SSD and SMT process quality control experience preferred.
• Familiar with IATF16949 and ISO9001 quality systems; auditor certs preferred.
• Proficient with Office software and Minitab for data analysis.

Job description

DapuStor Corporation (DapuStor), founded in April 2016, is a manufacturer of high-end enterprise solid-state drives (SSD), SOC, and edge computing-related products. With world-class R&D strength and team of 420, it has comprehensive capabilities from chip design and product development, to mass production. DapuStor products are used world-wide, at some of the largest companies in the world, in servers, data centers and AI applications.

Key responsibilities

• NPI Quality Control：Responsible for full-process quality monitoring during new project introduction, identify process quality risks, judge and promote closed-loop rectification of various quality abnormalities to prevent defective problems entering mass production. Approve new product first article inspection and participate in NPI-to-mass production review to ensure smooth mass production launch of new products.
• Mass Production Quality Management：Responsible for full-process quality control covering SMT, assembly, testing and shipment, including quality target implementation, document review, finished product release, abnormality handling and quality improvement activities. Conduct production line patrol, internal audit, ECR/ECN management and performance evaluation to continuously optimize process quality and reduce defects & customer complaints.
• Factory Audit Support：Coordinate with customers and third-party audit institutions, overall arrange factory audit preparation work, sort out audit non-conformities, follow up the implementation and closed-loop of rectification plans, and ensure the smooth passing of all kinds of factory audits.
• After-sales RMA Quality Improvement：Assist the overseas after-sales team in analyzing returned defective products, accurately identify the root causes of problems, promote process optimization and special improvements, and effectively reduce after-sales defect rate and repair costs.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, 5+ years of relevant experience with production quality management experience in the electronics and storage industry. Candidates with SSD and SMT process quality control experience are preferred.
• Familiar with IATF16949 and ISO9001 quality management systems, proficient in the whole process of SMT, assembly, LOG data analysis and testing. Skilled in applying 5 core quality tools, 8D, 5Why and other quality improvement methods, and familiar with RoHS and REACH environmental compliance specifications. ISO9001, IATF16949, VDA6.3 internal auditor certificates are preferred.
• Proficient in Office software and Minitab statistical tools; fluent in oral and written English and Chinese, capable of independently docking with domestic and overseas cross-department and cross-regional teams.
• Excellent in problem judgment, abnormality handling and cross-department coordination capabilities, with clear logical thinking and strong execution ability, and adapt to business travel.
