Job summary

Dufu Technology Corp. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager / Assistant Manager to lead the plant-wide QA function in our Penang manufacturing facility.

The role focuses on customer and supplier quality, process improvement, and cross-functional quality initiatives to ensure products meet requirements. We value a hands-on leader with 5+ years in manufacturing quality, strong knowledge of FMEA, MSA, SPC and 8D, and the ability to drive corrective actions across teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or quality field.
Minimum 5 years of quality experience in manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of FMEA, MSA, SPC and 8D problem-solving.
Able to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

Oversee plant-wide QA activities including IQC, IPQC, OQC and process audits.
Manage customer quality requirements, complaints and timely 8D/CLCA responses.
Work with suppliers to improve incoming quality performance.
Define and maintain Customer Specific Requirements (CSR).
Set quality objectives and KPIs, and present results during Management Review.
Work closely with Production and Engineering to resolve quality issues and drive corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure non-conforming products are properly identified, contained and prevented from shipment.
Monitor SPC implementation and effectiveness.
Drive continuous quality improvement and Six Sigma / improvement projects.
Lead and develop the QA team.

Quality Assurance Manager / Assistant Manager

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance professional to lead and strengthen our quality function in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for plant-wide quality activities, customer and supplier quality management, process improvement, and cross-functional quality initiatives to ensure products consistently meet customer and quality requirements.

The position level will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, leadership exposure and overall suitability.

Supplier quality, calibration, DOE and Six Sigma exposure will be an added advantage.

Good leadership, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
