Job summary

Greatech Integration (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quality Assurance/QMS Specialist in Penang to maintain the QMS and document control framework.

You will plan and conduct internal audits, manage external audits, and drive improvements across SOPs, records, and change control. The role emphasizes ISO compliance, staff training, and vigilant NCR/OFI closure to ensure ongoing quality performance.

Responsibilities

• Implements and maintains the Quality Management System (QMS) and Document Control System.
• Monitors and improves document control processes, including Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), drawing/BOM approval and distribution, and forms and format control.
• Plans, schedules, and conducts internal audits.
• Reports internal audit findings and follows up on and closes issued Non-Compliance Reports (NCRs) and Opportunities for Improvement (OFIs).
• Conducts internal auditor training and other QMS-related training programs.
• Monitors, reports on, and improves change control processes.
• Assists department heads in the establishment, implementation, revision, and improvement of SOPs, forms, and records.
• Prepares for and coordinates external audits, including conducting audit readiness assessments.
• Coordinates and manages customer audits and third-party QMS audits, and follows up on and closes issued NCRs and OFIs.
• Promotes awareness of QMS requirements throughout the Company.
• Other duties and assignment as instructed by supervisor from time to time.
• To comply to all requirements of ISO (inclusive of all standards approved by the Management) and to adhere to general safety practices, standard operating procedure, work instructions, policies and guidelines provided by the company.
